I always feel like I’m behind the 8 ball when it comes to Christmas gifts, but I had an epiphany the other day: you know what’s easy, cheap, quick, tasty, and pretty dang impressive with a little extra attention? Shortbread.  So for like coworkers and our mail carrier and so forth, I’m going to make a few batches of shortbread, some standard, some chocolate, and dip it in chocolate, and then top some of it with crushed peppermints and some of it with chopped nuts. I’m going into production mode today and I should be able to finish it all before the Critical Role broadcast tonight.  Fingers crossed!

Good luck! I'm on episode 12 now of the 2nd campaign, so I'm not sure when I'll be caught up to the current eps, but I've certainly enjoyed things in my injured free time.
